Abstract

This paper deals with (i) the grounds for the decision provided by the Brazilian Federal Superior Court on Special Appeal 1.270.983/SP; (ii) the possibility of indirect or reflex non-material damages compensation under the Brazilian law; and (iii) the limits to the legitimacy to sue for this kind of claim.
